Why you need spiritual counselling

I want to know if you’re having trouble accepting the idea that you might have depression or anxiety. 

Maybe you’re feeling lonely, anxious or even depressed. 

Or maybe you’re struggling with some form of trauma or trauma-related PTSD. 

Some of us have struggled with depression and/or anxiety ourselves, and many of us don’t know where we fit in the spectrum of mental health disorders.

If you’re one of the many people who have experienced trauma, the trauma itself can be an incredibly powerful and healing experience, but it can also leave you feeling confused, confused and in denial. 

What does it mean to be a victim of trauma? 

As a victim, you can’t talk about your experience because you might be stigmatised and blamed for it. 

But the trauma can be part of your own life too. 

You have the right to ask questions and explore what happened to you.

You can ask yourself if you’ve felt depressed, anxious, lonely or suicidal in the past. 

And if you feel this way, you have a right to feel safe and supported. 

I also want to be clear that I’m not suggesting that anyone should avoid talking about their trauma, or that it should be hidden. 

It’s okay to be vulnerable. 

When you talk about it, you’re acknowledging that you’re not alone.

But it’s also important to know that talking about it is not the same as talking about how you feel about it.

It’s not like you have to stop talking about your experiences. 

The trauma can still be part and parcel of your life. 

Even if you haven’t talked about it with anyone, you still have the power to do something about it by talking to someone who knows and can support you.

The more we learn about the way we relate to the world, the more we understand how it makes us feel. 

If we are willing to listen and learn, then we can be the ones to make change.

I know that you want to change your life, and that’s what this book is about. 

To change your mind and heart, to be open to the possibility that it might be OK to feel bad about yourself, you need to learn how to listen to the voices in your head.

Its for you because it’s written for you, and it’s not about you.
